RJ is one of our newer team members. He joined the BHR family over the off-season and has since played a critical role in our team. He’s a racer at heart and loves our sport. Check out his interview below:

Q: What is your favorite racing moment? A: Probably my favorite racing moment so far is when I won at Eldora Speedway in my own race car. That was a lot of fun.
Q: What got you interested in working in racing? A: My entire family has been involved in racing for my whole life. I guess you could say I was born into it.
Q: Who has had the greatest influence on you and your career? A: My dad.
Q: Where did you work before coming to BHR? A: Long Horn Modifieds
Q: What’s your favorite part about your job? A: I think traveling to the different tracks is my favorite parts of the job.
Q: What are your hobbies away from the shop? A: Racing. Haha. I have a race car, so when I’m not working at BHR, I’m working on my race car.
Q: What is your favorite restaurant to eat at on the road? A: That’s easy, Hard 8 in Texas.
Q: Would you rather be a tiny elephant or a giant hamster? A: Hmm, tiny elephant I guess.
Q: If you could have any superpower, what would it be? A: I wish I could fly. I could go anywhere I wanted, whenever I wanted.
Q: Do you have any superstitions? A: A $50 bill. I never have one in possession at the track.
