Qualification Stats:

Holmes and the team came to the track with the No. 32 Best Value Carriers truck set up for a solid night run at Richmond Raceway. Qualifying in the middle of the pack, Holmes was able to jump to the top of the board during his run. After all the trucks qualified, Holmes would start the race in P22.

Stage 1
Even though the opening stage was longer than most (70 laps), the field remained consistent through the first stage. One caution from the No. 42 truck allowed for the team to make quick adjustments to the truck, but Holmes would finish the stage where he started.
Stage 2
Using pit strategy to gain track position, Mike Shiplett and crew brought Bret down pit road early. Now on fresh tires, Holmes was able to work through the field on fresh tires and found himself in P16 at the end of the stage,
Final Stage
Holmes fought hard to keep his place around the top 15, but during one of the final restarts, he found himself slipping due to contact in traffic.
