Race Recap - Wright Brand 250

NASCAR race trucks are racing around a turn at North Wilkesboro Speedway. — Bret Holmes pilots the Best Value Carriers No. 32 truck around North Wilkesboro Speedway.

Qualification Stats:

During the qualifying period, rain began to fall and the trucks had to park until the weather cleared. Due to time constraints with Cup Series qualifying, the Truck Series qualifying period was discontinued, and the drivers were assigned starting positions based on an adjusted metrics system. The Best Value Carriers No. 32 truck would start in P20.

Stage 1

The No. 32 truck had technical difficulties from the beginning of the race until the end. At the start of Stage 1, Holmes had speed down the opening straightaway but fought a loose front-end around the turns. The rain began to fall again, causing the track to become more slick, and the stage ended as NASCAR waved the RED FLAG. The race would be continued the next day (Sunday, May 19th) at 10:30 am ET.

Stage 2

The next morning, the track was sunny, dry, and much warmer than the day before. The team knew the biggest challenge of the day would be getting the truck adjusted to the current conditions. After finding speed on the track, the race saw two separate cautions from Ty Majeski and Lawless Alan, before the No. 32 truck spun in turn 2, ending the second stage.

Final Stage

Having gone multiple laps down, the team used the final stage to communicate with Holmes about the truck's adjustments and performance, noting the changes to be made in the shop.
