Stage 1
After a lengthy rain delay, we finally saw the green flag fly with the sun completely set. Holmes was able to take advantage of both early cautions from Kyle Busch in the Spire Motorsports No. 7 truck, advancing four spots at stage end.
Stage 2
Still moving forward, Holmes was able to talk with the team and communicate how much the truck was loosening up through the stage. A spin from Spencer Boyd in the No. 76 truck, brought out a caution and allowed the team to make adjustments to the truck, ending the stage in P20.
Final Stage
As the green laps began to stack, the No. 32 team knew there would be potential for a mishap towards the end. Electing to stay out of the pits and gain track positioning, Holmes managed to survive "the Big One" and finished the race in P17.
